Problem: No Power There could be several reasons for a loss of power. The first thing to check is whether the loss is local or regional. If the power is out only at your house, check your electric meter. If the meter is not running, there is no power from the main power line to your electrical panel. This should be reported to your power company. - LADWP: 818-342-5397

| If your meter is running, you can check the electrical panel to see if the main or one of the other breakers is visibly "popped" or obviously out of the fully "on" position. If one needs to be reset, flip it completely to the off position, then on again. If there are no visibly popped breakers, it may be the plug itself. Newer plugs have a GFI (Ground Fault Interrupt) that will "pop" when there is a fault in the line. These outlets are commonly found in bathrooms, kitchens, garages and outside. To reset a GFI plug, press in the reset/red button. If none of these solutions restores power, or if your breakers or GFI plugs are continually popping, call to schedule service: 818-359-5371 |
